summary; the first thing one would notice about arthur kirkland is his face: his thick eyebrows and high cheek bones always seem to draw attention. he has freckles across the bridge of his nose and cheeks, something that can cause him a bit of embarrassment sometimes- yet also serves as a reminder that he is indeed his brothers' sibling.
the second thing one would notice is how lanky he is. his ribs and joints bump out slightly, but this doesn't mean he's weak. he's physically strong (perhaps not as strong as america, but.) and he can hold his own. he's of average height and doesn't stand out too much in a crowd, unless you're looking for a skinny bloke with eyebrows that take up his forehead.
the third thing one would notice about him only shows when he's stripped down- the scars on his body from centuries of warfare. to be fair, most of them have faded, since the wars happened centuries ago. but there will always be deep scars running across his body like vines.

personality;
arthur kirkland during the first impression is, in summary, a walking stereotype of a typical english gentleman. proud, regal, but introverted and witty. or, at least, he seems to be. arthur kirkland may be an english gentleman but he's anything but the typical one. pride and a sense of entitlement go hand in hand. his wit is almost biting, in an almost cruel way. his introversion does nothing but make him seem aloof and cold.

his loyalty, bravery, resilience, and stiff upper lip was taught to him by centuries of hardships. his need for power, control, and arrogance was given to him by decades of empire. his temper was a gift from his mother, and his ability to stare down the barrel of a gun a gift from his father. he lies with a silver tongue, speaks with a voice that commands, and does not falter.

one will soon realize that the gentleman façade he wears is a simple mask for a wolf of a man.

abilities/powers;
↠ due to arthur's 'supernatural' status (ie, being a man who represents a nation), he has practical immortality. the only way to kill him is to destroy the country of england. a few have tried, none of have succeeded.
↠ arthur has been trained in archery, as he was one of the famous english archers. he can aim almost perfectly, due to centuries of experience. the aim he learned from his is also useful with guns and other weaponry.
↠ as a former knight should know, he can sword fight. due to his long history of experience with swords, he's extremely skilled with them.
↠ magic. magic is one of arthur's best resources. due to his nation's culture having a long history of magic- whether seeing it as good or as something to burn at the stake- arthur has an inherent ability to perform magic and to connect to mythical creatures (of the british mythology variety).
